Korianne Johnson
Korianne holds a BFA in Music Dance Theatre and an MM in Vocal Performance-Opera from Brigham Young University and has been teaching privately for 19 years, 16 of them at BYU. She is currently adjunct faculty at BYU and UVU in the Music Dance Theater Department.
Korianne students have been featured leads on many stages all over the country such as Tuacahn, Sundance Theater, Playmill West Yellowstone, Carriage House Theatre in Canada, The Muny Theatre, Hale Theatre West Valley, Hale Theater Orem, National Tours, Off-Broadway and Broadway. Her students also audition and participate in top choirs, vocal programs and musical theater programs at Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University, Weber State College, and University of Utah.
She is a sought after music director, working for the Hale Center Theater Orem, SCERA, Sundance Theatre; Playmill Theatre West Yellowstone, BYU, and UVU, music directing shows such as : Xanadu; Scarlet Pimpernel; Footloose; Tarzan, Lucky Stiff; Singin’ in the Rain; The Wonderettes; The Civil War; Cinderella; The Girl, the Grouch and the Goat; Suessical; Beauty and the Beast; Hello Dolly; The Fantasticks; South Pacific; Urinetown; Kiss Me Kate; My Fair Lady; Oklahoma!; All Shook Up; and The Beggar’s Opera.
